Consumer Protection and Energy Transition: Royal Decree Law 18/2022

On October 19, 2022, Royal Decree Law 18/2022, dated October 18, 2022, was published in the Official State Gazette (BOE) No. 251, with entry into force on October 20, 2022, approving measures to strengthen the protection of energy consumers and to contribute to the reduction of natural gas consumption in application of the “Plan + seguridad para tu energía (+SE)” (+SE + Security Plan), as well as
measures regarding the remuneration of public sector personnel and the protection of temporary agricultural workers affected by the drought (Royal Decree Law 18/2022).
