Philipp Kirchheim joined Marimón Abogados as a partner in 2015, contributing to the growth of the firm’s Corporate and M&A practice. He is responsible for the German Desk, based primarily in the Barcelona office, and co-leads, alongside José Antonio Rodríguez, the Marimón Abogados office in Seville, strengthening the firm’s presence in Andalusia. He also advises on transactions in the Balearic and Canary Islands.
With over 25 years of experience, Philipp advises companies and individuals, particularly international clients, primarily German-speaking, on their investments and divestments in Spain. His Corporate and M&A practice encompasses the structuring, negotiation, and execution of complex transactions, providing a comprehensive approach.
He has extensive expertise in the real estate, tourism and hospitality, and renewable energy sectors. Philipp coordinates transactions related to the development, acquisition, sale, and financing of portfolios of tourism and hospitality assets, university residences, shopping centres, logistics parks, and large-scale photovoltaic facilities.
Additionally, he advises high-net-worth individuals on real estate investments, including their fiscal structuring and real estate planning.
