Álvaro Gaviño joined Marimón Abogados in 2018 and was promoted to partner in 2024, strengthening the Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and venture capital operations within the team.
With a solid professional background, Álvaro has extensive experience in the execution of transactions involving the purchase and sale of companies, corporate groups, specific assets, and business units, as well as in investment, divestment, and joint venture processes. He is also highly experienced in advising on corporate restructuring processes, including mergers, demergers, spin-offs, and asset transfers. Álvaro is recognised for his expertise in sectors such as infrastructure, technology, agribusiness, distribution, and consumer goods, as well as for his role in conducting and coordinating due diligence processes for companies and corporate groups.
Álvaro advises national and international companies on day-to-day matters related to commercial and corporate law, including contractual issues and corporate governance. His practice features significant experience in managing the secretariat of Boards of Directors of companies and corporate groups, acting as legal counsel in strategic decision-making processes.
